This website was created by Haley Roeder, a graduate student at California State University, Sacramento. Haley created this website as a part of her journey to becoming a history educator. This website was completed as her culminating experience project for her MA in Education in Behavioral Science and Gender Equity.

Haley's Story

Haley began working in education while completing her bachelor's degree in history. She then pursued her MA in Education in Behavioral Science and Gender Equity. Haley has a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion work. She found herself inspired to create a resource that could aid teachers in broadening the historical narrative that she had been taught. Her interests and inspiration led her to create a teacher resource website that would allow teachers to incorporate women activists into their US history classrooms. Her goal is to provide easily accessible resources and ideas that can benefit students and teachers.
